Dental/Medical Integration Conference The Foundation's first annual conference, "Promoting Wellness through Collaboration: The Integration of Dental and Medical," was held on Friday, June 8, 2012. This program brought together approximately 200 medical and dental professionals to promote patient wellness through collaboration. The conference introduced a new dental model facilitating collaboration, integration and improved communication for all providers. Dental providers received 6 CE credits from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. Physicians received 6 CME credits from Drexel University College of Medicine. Health Disparities Conference The Foundation will sponsor and promote annual Health Disparities conferences for health care professionals to address the importance of access to health care for the underserved. The conferences will focus on health prevention and treatment and ways in which our country can build viable, healthy communities.
The Foundation is committed to funding community health initiatives that improve the health status of vulnerable populations.
